Description
Magigoo Pro PA / Nylon is a 3D printing polyamide filament adhesive designed for professional use. The part should be relatively easy to remove once it cools down and the glue residue should also be easily cleaned off after printing.
Generally there are three common types of Nylon ust in the FDM industry, PA12, PA66 and PA6. These materials can either be compounded with additives or reinforced with glass or carbon fibers. Generally, nylons have high strength, toughness, elasticity, wear resistance, chemical resistance and heat resistance, and are much sought after in various industrial applications.
Nylon filaments pose a challenge to the FDM printer because of their lower adhesion to conventional 3D printing surfaces and their higher warp tendency. In addition, there are several classes of PA filaments that behave differently. Magigoo PA is a special solution for the FDM printing of PA filaments, which was developed for a variety of PA types like Luvocom® 3F PAHT 9825 NT, PAHT CF 9891 BK and PAHT KK 50056 BK FR filament.
How to us it?
- Shake the bottle.
- Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib on the bed (activating the inner valve) and spreading as needed.
- Print according to the filament/printer manufacturers recommendations
- Allow to cool and remove. The print should pop right off
- Clean - Use a damp cloth to wipe off.
SAFETY:
Using this product with other than PA type filaments might cause over adhesion and damage your build surface.
Tips:
For larger prints a 20 mm brim is recommended. In cases of excess adhesion, it is recommended to wet print bed with a small amount of water slowly work it below the part, this should make part removal easier.
