What changes and what stays identical.

In October 2026, we are updating our company name and visual identity from 3D4Makers to 3D4M. This is a deliberate step to align our brand with the industrial nature of our work today. It is important to state upfront that this is a change of name and visual identity only. We are the exact same company, operating the same production lines, with the same ownership.

Why 3D4M

Our company started in 2014 as 3D4Makers. We were dedicated to the creators pushing the early boundaries of 3D printing. We are proud of that heritage. As we matured into 3D4M, the letter M became a symbol that grew alongside the industry. Today, it does not just stand for the makers who built the foundation. It stands for the advanced materials we formulate. It represents the global manufacturers we support and the industry shift toward mass production. The M lives in the engineering mindset behind every milestone we reach. Above all, it reflects the reliability required for mission critical applications in the aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors we serve. We manufacture filament for the industries where material failure is not an option. Our new name reflects that focus.

What is changing

You will see our new name and visual identity roll out over the coming weeks. Our website moves to a new address at 3d4m.com. The updated logo and branding will appear across our website, on our spool labels, and on official documentation like invoices and technical data sheets. Our visual presence is simply catching up with the reality of our daily business.

What stays exactly the same

Every process, material, and team member you rely on remains in place.

  • Our leadership and location remain unchanged. We are still the same company founded by the Wille family in 2014, operating our lab and production lines in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
  • Your approved materials and specifications will not change. We continue to produce the exact same LUVOCOM 3F, Facilan, PEEK, and PEKK filaments with the same tight diameter tolerances across the whole spool.
  • Our unique manufacturing method stays exactly the same. We still use our unique way of producing filament, such as our signature water free extrusion process with air cooling.
  • Our industry partnerships are unaffected. We continue to develop and produce technical materials alongside trusted specialty polymer partners like LEHVOSS and Perstorp.
  • Your daily business with us continues without interruption. Existing orders, quotes, accounts, and your dedicated contact person are all unchanged.

What this means for you

There is absolutely no action required from your side. Every existing 3d4makers.com link, bookmark, and printed QR code keeps working and automatically leads to the same page on 3d4m.com. You can continue to work with the same people to source the same reliable materials. We remain trusted by more than 100 universities and leading industrial companies worldwide. If you have any questions about this update, please reach out to your regular contact person.
